Maya Cares

Racism experienced as microaggressions can be difficult to process due to their subtle nature, with research suggesting its mental health consequences. The Creative Co-Operative was looking to create an in-time support tool for women experiencing racism. Co-designed with women with experiences of racism as well as anti-racism and mental health experts, our goal was to find ways of healing. We built a tool to respond to, report and heal from racism and grow more awareness of their rights.

I managed the project with end-to-end design delivery from research (co-design workshops, interviews, focus groups, survey design), translating insights into clear user needs, design features (features prioritisation, user journey mapping, wireframing) to launch.
